In July this year, the country proposed a new development strategy of "prospering the domestic economy and unblocking the domestic circulation". In the internal circulation strategy, the supply chain is the core key to breaking through the "supply and demand obstruction" of the Chinese economy, and at the same time injecting the endogenous driving force of China's economic development into the "smooth circulation" links such as circulation, distribution, and consumption of social reproduction. In the post-epidemic era, the transformation of new and old kinetic energy in the supply chain has further accelerated, and the integrated development of online and offline has become the main direction of supply chain reform. Under this trend, how can the supply chain logistics industry and enterprises build an effective integration mechanism for the supply chain and realize resource sharing, thereby driving the new development of the internal circulation?
On November 26, the 24th China Supply Chain Technology and Management Development Advanced Seminar was officially held in Hefei. The seminar was hosted by Baogong Logistics and China Federation of Logistics and Purchasing, and received strong support from the Central Enterprise Committee of the China Democratic National Construction Association, China Warehouse Association, Wanlian Network, Yizhan.com, Baogong Express, etc. The conference was themed "Digital empowerment, supply chain integration to accelerate internal circulation", and brought together many entrepreneurs and top experts from the supply chain field at home and abroad, as well as many Fortune 500 companies and large domestic manufacturing and distribution companies, bringing together a far-sighted, valuable and meaningful industry feast!
It is reported that Baogong Logistics Enterprise Group is committed to promoting the development and exploration of China's logistics industry. Since 1997, it has taken the lead in initiating and hosting the "China Supply Chain Technology and Management Development Advanced Seminar" in the industry. So far, it has successfully held 24 sessions. It is a well-deserved authoritative modern logistics and supply chain management exchange platform in China, and one of the most influential modern logistics and supply chain advanced seminars.
(Yun Mian, Vice President of China Logistics Society)
The morning session of this seminar was hosted by Yun Mian, Vice President of the China Logistics Society. At the beginning of the seminar, Liu Wu, Chairman of PG Logistics Group Co., Ltd. and He Liming, President of the China Federation of Logistics and Purchasing, delivered speeches.
(Liu Wu, Chairman of PG Logistics Group)
In his speech, Liu Wu, Chairman of PG Logistics Group, said that this year is an extraordinary year. The changes brought about by the epidemic have hit the whole country and even the world hard, but hope still exists in such changes. During the epidemic, PG actively participated in the fight against the epidemic, and made many attempts to open up the supply chain and realize the information, digitalization and transparent transformation. It also tried its best to ensure the supply and circulation of the market, and finally achieved the mission of PG. In addition, he pointed out that how to build a reliable and stable supply chain is the way forward that PG has been thinking and exploring. Digitalization will undoubtedly become a very important production factor. Combined with the application of technology, it constitutes the current and future exploration and development direction of PG.
(He Liming, President of China Federation of Logistics and Purchasing)
He Liming, President of the China Federation of Logistics and Purchasing, pointed out in his speech that the social economy was severely tested in 2020, and the industrial chain and supply chain were severely broken. However, at the beginning of the epidemic, the country launched the policy of "six stability and six guarantees", which pointed out the focus of the recovery of the epidemic. Subsequently, he sorted out the many policy guidelines introduced by the country to support the stability of the supply chain since this year, and emphasized that in promoting the resumption of work and production in the industry, logistics companies can be said to be the pioneers of anti-epidemic and resumption of production. It is precisely thanks to the favorable guarantees of logistics companies during the epidemic that the economic recovery has been so rapid. Therefore, the theme of today's seminar is timely.
In addition, He Liming said that Baogong Logistics, as a leading domestic logistics and service company and also one of the first companies to resume work in Guangdong Province, has played an outstanding role in fighting the epidemic. Its multi-warehouse integration solution, while complying with the online and offline integration of the supply chain, has a good reference value for the direction of supply chain innovation and the development of the industry.
(Wang Guowen, Director of the Institute of Logistics and Supply Chain Management, China (Shenzhen) Development Research Institute)
Afterwards, Wang Guowen, director of the Institute of Logistics and Supply Chain Management of the China (Shenzhen) Institute for Comprehensive Development, a national high-end think tank, shared his views on the theme of "Supply Chain Integration and Digital Transformation in the Post-epidemic Era". He pointed out that the lag effect of the epidemic has not yet been reflected, and the post-epidemic world we are entering will start a reshuffle of the industry. He said that under changes such as the trade war, the weight of supply chain security and risk has increased, and under the influence of the new crown epidemic, the construction of supply chain resilience has become an important connotation of supply chain operation. On the one hand, the supply chain should increase resilience while preventing risks. Resilience is the foundation for coping with disruptions and maintaining profitability. On the other hand, a closed-loop supply chain should be established to increase logistics and supply chain service capabilities through reforms - these trend changes will exist for a long time.
(Zhang Qi, Vice President of Global Transportation and Logistics Solutions, Huawei Enterprise BG)
Then, Zhang Qi, Vice President of Huawei Enterprise BG Global Transportation and Logistics Solutions, delivered a speech on the theme of "5G+loT Smart Supply Chain Changes and Breakthroughs". He shared the current situation of the logistics industry and the challenges it faces, as well as some inspirations and discussions on Huawei's supply chain innovation based on Huawei's corporate background. He said that Huawei has served the global transportation and logistics industry for 20 years and can go deep into the industry. At present, national policies also point out that logistics costs should be reduced and efficiency should be improved. So, how to solve this industry problem in a better way?
Zhang Qi pointed out that non-native digital enterprises have two digitalization paths: 1. Digital empowerment of the current architecture; 2. Architecture reconstruction + digital enablement. "Turning capabilities into services and providing service-oriented products" is Huawei's direction. In addition, he introduced Huawei's smart supply chain's vision of building an open Internet digital collaborative supply chain logistics platform, and demonstrated in detail the model construction and management applications of smart logistics and warehousing in multiple core scenarios of Huawei, and shared application cases of fully automated scenarios.
(Yang Jibao, Supply Chain Director of Unilever China Business Group)
How to use new technologies to promote digital transformation? Yang Jibao, Supply Chain Director of Unilever China Business Group, shared his unique experience on "'4S' Innovation to Build a Smart Supply Chain" and Unilever's innovation and practical cases in the supply chain.
First of all, he said that "flexibility, intelligence, sustainability, and ecology" are the strategic development of Unilever's supply chain, and "safety, quality, service, cost, and cash flow" are the fundamental goals of realizing the supply chain. In terms of operations, the process from proposing digitalization to the implementation of transformation is a long and complex process. Digitalization can bring not only technological improvements, but also increases in production and efficiency; in terms of manufacturing, he introduced that Unilever is a "demonstrator of digital manufacturing" and "globalization 4.0". In the future, Unilever hopes to integrate the B-end and the C-end, and enable the growth of omni-channel business through the combination of Skynet and Ground Network, so as to realize the vertical connection of channel shared inventory system and the deployment of warehouse network to reach multiple cities.

(Hirokazu Ikeda, Senior Director of Hitachi Data Management (China) Co., Ltd.)
He first pointed out that China's logistics costs are still higher than those in developed countries, and said that the COVID-19 pandemic has brought about an increase in distribution demand, a lack of personnel, and an increase in labor costs. Against this background, many logistics industries have begun to actively introduce management systems such as AI/robots and WMS (inventory management system), but the efficiency of introduction needs to be improved, and the degree of intelligence in the same industry may show a polarized trend in the future. Hirokazu Ikeda said that Hitachi is currently verifying the feasibility of digital solutions for the logistics industry, and the next step will be to apply it in the relevant business scenarios of Baogong Logistics. In addition to the integration with the Baogong Logistics system, the two parties will also jointly create the most advanced intelligent logistics solutions to help Baogong Logistics, a leading company in the logistics industry, achieve further sophistication and efficiency, while providing the possibility of cooperation for other industries. In addition, he also gave a detailed introduction to Hitachi Logiura's case presentations in business, application examples and solutions.

After learning about the different supply chain innovations and applications of many companies, Peng Xin, general manager of the Information Technology Management Development Center of Baogong Logistics Enterprise Group Co., Ltd., also brought in-depth sharing on "Multi-warehouse Integration to Promote New Retail". Peng Xin said that under the influence of the epidemic, online consumption has grown rapidly, but offline channels still have their unique advantages. Peng Xin pointed out that in the future, online and offline will be more integrated and developed, and the value of enterprises will be maximized through mutual guidance between online and offline channels - this means that enterprises must build a "user-centered" integrated supply chain system. So, how to achieve this? Peng Xin demonstrated Baogong's omni-channel "multi-warehouse integration" solution, which has a full-system visualization of warehousing services, terminal distribution, distribution, transfer, and return. It can not only realize "one-stop goods" management efficiently and conveniently, but also reduce customer capital occupation costs and overall logistics costs, and tap into potential profit space.
