He shared the current situation of the logistics industry and the challenges it faces, as well as some inspirations and discussions on Huawei's supply chain innovation based on Huawei's corporate background. He said that Huawei has served the global transportation and logistics industry for 20 years and can go deep into the industry. At present, national policies also point out that logistics costs should be reduced and efficiency should be improved. So, how to solve this industry problem in a better way?

Zhang Qi pointed out that non-native digital enterprises have two digitalization paths: 1. Digital empowerment of the current architecture; 2. Architecture reconstruction + digital enablement. "Turning capabilities into services and providing service-oriented products" is Huawei's direction. First of all, he said that "flexibility, intelligence, sustainability, and ecology" are the strategic development of Unilever's supply chain, and "safety, quality, service, cost, and cash flow" are the fundamental goals of realizing the supply chain. In terms of operations, the process from proposing digitalization to the implementation of transformation is a long and complex process. Digitalization can bring not only technological improvements, but also increases in production and efficiency; in terms of manufacturing, he introduced that Unilever is a "demonstrator of digital manufacturing" and "globalization 4.0".
