On October 25, the "Digital Communication Chain Valley·Connecting the World and the World" 2024 Industrial Chain Supply Chain Digital Economy Conference was successfully held in Shanghai, hosted by the China Federation of Logistics and Purchasing, supported by the Shanghai Data Bureau and the People's Government of Jing'an District, Shanghai, undertaken by the Blockchain Application Branch of the China Federation of Logistics and Purchasing, the Electronic Industry Supply Chain Branch of the China Federation of Logistics and Purchasing, the Shanghai Jing'an District Data Bureau and Shanghai Beigaoxin (Group) Co., Ltd., and co-organized by the Chain Digital Industry Research Institute and EFEC Industrial Chain Network.

The conference was strongly supported by the Steel Logistics Professional Committee of the China Federation of Logistics and Purchasing, the Shanghai Blockchain Technology Association, the Jiangsu Modern Supply Chain Association, the Zhejiang Blockchain Technology Application Association, the Ningbo Logistics Association, Ant Digital Technology, Zijin Research Institute, Hehe Information, and Shanmei Factoring. He Hui, chief economist of the China Federation of Logistics and Purchasing, said that the industrial chain and supply chain are the foundation of economic operation. Maintaining the security of the industrial chain and supply chain is an important support for my country to seize the initiative in economic development and achieve the second centenary goal in the great changes in the world that have not been seen in a century. Despite the changes in the external environment and risks and challenges, my country's digital development of industrial chains and supply chains has made remarkable achievements, and its position in the global industrial chain and supply chain pattern has continued to consolidate. However, we should also see that the digital economy of the industrial chain and supply chain is facing new challenges, such as insufficient innovation capabilities in key areas, a trend of further widening of the digital divide, insufficient release of data resource value, and the need to further improve the digital economy governance system. To meet these challenges, we must accelerate the digital transformation of the industrial chain, actively carry out innovative applications and pilot projects of digital technologies in key areas of the industrial chain and supply chain, and promote the construction of digital industrial parks and the digital transformation of industrial clusters. At the same time, we should focus on cultivating high-level talents in the digitalization of the industrial chain and supply chain, and strengthen the training of application-oriented talents integrating digital technology with the real industry.

Fu Jun, member of the Standing Committee of the Jing'an District Committee of Shanghai and executive deputy district mayor, said that in recent years, Jing'an District has focused on the construction of Shanghai International Science and Technology Innovation Center, taking the lead in the field of digital economy, and has formed a complete digital industry chain and a rich upstream and downstream industry ecology. One-third of the city's key big data companies are settled in Jing'an. After years of development, the integrated development of cloud, data, and intelligence in Jing'an District has begun to take shape. In terms of the blockchain industry, Jing'an is promoting the construction of the "Digital Communication Chain Valley", which is Shanghai's first blockchain-themed industrial cluster area and the core bearing area for Jing'an's continuous construction of a comprehensive pilot for national blockchain innovation applications. At present, Jing'an is working hard to build this hot land into a new highland for the blockchain industry and build an excellent innovation ecosystem for corporate development.

The challenge facing enterprises is how to transform unstructured data into usable information and ensure the quality and security of the data. In the digital era, information has become transparent, and some companies have begun to adopt a flat structure to flexibly respond to changes in the form of large enterprises and small teams. In the future, the AI era will further change the way we work, and how to better collaborate with AI will become a new topic. As a builder of the digital economy, ZTE is also accelerating the creation of an intelligent body in the supply chain. COSCO SHIPPING Technology has studied more than 100 industry algorithms in artificial intelligence to enable the industry to move towards intelligence. Li Zelin, digital supply chain expert from Sinochem Business, shared his experience on the topic of "Application and Practice of Digital Risk Management in the Whole Process of Procurement of State-owned Enterprises". He pointed out that the digital supervision of state-owned assets is developing in a full-process and all-round manner, emphasizing the whole process management from before to after, and requiring the close integration of supervision and business. However, this transformation has also increased the difficulty of management. The unclear supervision standards and vague audit boundaries have made state-owned enterprises face many challenges in procurement. In order to meet these challenges, the risk management of the whole process of procurement urgently needs new trends and adopts a clear risk identification and management path, including the establishment of a standardized risk knowledge system and controllable risk management goals. The overall construction is divided into three stages: major risk control, whole process control, and intelligent prediction and intervention. In addition, a unified database and a reliable data resource system need to be built to achieve data accuracy and traceability.
